The Bonobo by Raes
Raes has opened The Bonobo on Jonson Street, Byron Bay, a three-level hotel and lifestyle precinct designed by Richards & Spence with interiors by Studio Manifold. A modernist brick facade, open central courtyard, custom Jardan furniture and a rooftop pool with lighthouse-to-hinterland views define the property.Â

Interni Venosta Objects
Arezzo-based studio Interni Venosta has launched its debut Objects collection: vases, trays and letter holders in burnished brass and polished steel, finished in ivory, black and mirrored surfaces, forming a vocabulary of reflection and contrast.

Zucchetti Octo at Casa Milana
Designer Mario Milana and creative partner Gabriella Campagna have interpreted Zucchetti’s Octo collection—designed by David Lopez Quincoces—within the evolving interiors of their Milan studio, Casa Milana, for the brand’s ongoing A Day With series.

Julie Kegels x COUR, After Work
Antwerp fashion label Julie Kegels and gallery COUR brought together designers, artists and collaborators—among them a 1970s Otto Zapf Softline Cabinet in green lacquer foil, works by Colin Knight and a vintage Osvaldo Borsani piece—for an exhibition exploring the contemporary working woman and the collapse of the work/home divide. Lumina Daphine 50th Anniversary
The Daphine lamp, born from an idea by Tommaso Cimini that led directly to the founding of Lumina in 1975, marks its 50th anniversary with a special edition featuring colourful details and a commemorative logo drawn from the decade of its original design.

Signorino, Woodcut and Elton Group, Material for All Seasons
Brisbane’s architecture and design community gathered at the Signorino and Woodcut Fortitude Valley showroom for Material for All Seasons, a winter showcase of stone, timber and architectural surfaces exploring how texture, tone and finish shape atmosphere in the built environment.

An Alpine Refuge, Rebuilt
When Michel Perathoner and Romina Huber took over a derelict 1950s refuge on South Tyrol’s Rosengarten massif, they handed the rebuild to Bolzano-based Senoner Tammerle Architekten. Santnerpass Hut ix now open for 2026, the galvanised steel A-frame sits at 2,734 metres with a glass facade framing the UNESCO-protected Dolomites.

Robert Davidov, Small Acts of Permanence
Melbourne architect Robert Davidov makes his debut as a visual artist with a new series of sculptural ceramics at Oigåll Projects in Fitzroy, on view 2–19 July. The works—blunt, ultramarine-glazed forms built through accumulation and material resistance—sit somewhere between object and architecture.
