Italian designer Giampiero Tagliaferri works between Los Angeles and Milan, the city where he spent 18 formative years. As creative director of the eyewear brand Oliver Peoples, he designed boutiques around the world before launching his namesake practice, which now has studios in both cities.
His residential, commercial and hospitality projects combine classic 20th-century Italian design with Southern California modernism, mixing eras and influences to create tension within a space.
