The SuperWire range is distinguished by its modularity and adaptability, featuring table, suspension, and floor lamps. Each piece is anchored by a geometric foundation—a hexagonal base of glass panels seamlessly joined by polished aluminum elements. From this elegant structure emerges the true innovation—a thin, flat, and flexible LED strip that illuminates with an ethereal glow.
Extending up to one metre in length SuperWire subtly reinforces Formafantasma’s pursuit of design that is as functional as it is poetic. Beyond its architectural form, SuperWire is an innovative approach to sustainability. Unlike conventional LED fixtures, where the light source is often integrated and irreplaceable, SuperWire’s LED strip can be easily removed and replaced by the user. This unique design consideration ensures longevity, aligning with Formafantasma’s broader mission to challenge wasteful production cycles and elevate conscious craftsmanship in contemporary design.
