Originally designed in 1967 by De Pas, D’Urbino, and Lomazzi as an icon of Italian Pop Design, the Mohdern Ciuingam Collection takes its name from the Italian phonetic spelling of “chewing gum”—its rounded forms, generous volumes, and visible stitching evoking the playful, sculptural informality of the DDL studio’s experimental design language. Reissued by Mohdern in 2026 and made to order in Italy, the collection comprises the Ciuingam Armchair (W 100 × D 105 × H 75cm) and the Ciuingam Sofa, both fully upholstered in a choice of fabric or leather.
