We came across this award winning country getaway in central west NSW and thought we’d share it with you. If you’re in need of a rural retreat for a weekend away – or searching for some country homestead design inspiration…then Trelawney Farm will be just your cup of tea.
What was once John & Kathy Collins’ family home has now become a home for hire for anyone looking for some fresh country air and a sky full of stars – even if only for a weekend. Furnished in a mix of industrial chic with country glam, Trelawney Farm is, in true country style, welcoming and unpretentious.
Located in the heart of the Mudgee wine trail, a few hours west of Sydney, this 150 year old colonial farmhouse will have you dreaming of kicking back by the fire, listening to the birds out on the verandah, and itching to bathe in the outdoor claw foot bath.
You can invite your friends to join you as the two interlocking homes, The Coach House and the Barn End Cottage sleep 12. The only thing you have to do is write that guest list!
Oh and pick up some of our absolute favourite Olive Oil made locally by Lomondo.
