In a continued pursuit of both performance and design integrity, family-owned Spanish surface brand Cosentino has expanded their Sensa by Cosentino range with four new quartzites, marrying raw beauty with technical innovation.
The new releases—Marau, Oihana, Itara, and Cristalo—reflect Cosentino’s deepening investment in the natural stone category, underpinned by their exclusive Senguard NK anti-stain technology and a focus on meeting the demands of contemporary living.
At the heart of Sensa is an advanced molecular-level treatment that protects against stains, liquids, and scratches, offering the enduring performance and look Cosentino is known for with minimal maintenance.
The four new quartzites speak to the full range of the material, each one shaped by natural variation. Marau is a cool-toned, satin-finished grey stone enlivened by brushed threads of blue, gold, and burgundy, its linear and organic veining creating a bold, sculptural rhythm. Oihana takes a more graphic approach, with stark white veins that cut across a rich black background, revealing layers of grey, cream, and brown in an interplay of depth and contrast.
The new Mirage texture provides a glossy finish, allowing for visual depth and movement.
Itara leans into its colour, featuring a deep palette of emerald and copper, its gentle clouds of darker green conveying a sense of movement and serenity. Cristalo is versatile and offers a translucent quartzite in silvery whites and pale greys that echoes frozen landscapes.
All four new surfaces are finished in Cosentino’s exclusive Mirage finish—a subtly glossy surface achieved through precision abrasion—and offered in large-format slabs in 20 or 30mm thickness.
