Templeton Architecture is a Melbourne-based residential practice led by principal Emma Templeton. Since establishing the studio in 2008, Emma has focused on private houses of clarity and restraint, where quality is assumed and attention is quiet. With degrees in Architecture and Interior Design, her work integrates architecture and interiors as a single, resolved discipline. Each commission is shaped by careful consideration of site, proportion, light and material integrity.
Emma is a current Co-convenor for the Architects Registration Board of Victoria.

Emma Templeton has a rare fluency with Melbourne’s heritage fabric with an ability to honour the narrative of an existing home while breathing new life into it and her work often speaks the language of the original and extends it thoughtfully.
