Shareen Joel is the founder and director of a multidisciplinary design practice based in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia. Established in 2003, the studio works across industrial design, interior design, architectural building design, product design, furniture design and creative brand management. Under the direction of Shareen Joel, the practice is driven by a philosophy of authentic timelessness. Shareen Joel’s design philosophy centres on restraint, essentialism and subtraction—knowing what to leave out rather than what to add—with an emphasis on consistency, authenticity and timelessness.

Shareen Joel holds qualifications in Industrial Design (BA Industrial Design), Interior Architecture (BA Interior Architecture) and Architectural Building Design, and is a VBA Registered Building Practitioner.
