About

Samantha Leigh Interiors is a leading Brisbane-based, full-service interior design practice that crafts spaces of storied visual poetry. With projects spanning high-end residential, hospitality, and select commercial spaces, the studio prioritises emotional impact over a rigid style methodology to yield richly detail-driven interiors of luxurious ease.
Melding craftsmanship with contemporary sensibilities, each project forges highly-customised spaces that thoughtfully evolve the definition of beauty by bridging tradition and originality to create meaningful, modern expressions.

Led by Samantha Leigh, who creatively directs every project, the studio comprises a core, highly-specialised team that manages engagements from initial concepts to final styling, including custom furniture and lighting design. Its aesthetic language is unique to each project and defined by the cultivation of a narrative intrinsically linked to people, purpose and place, layering texture and material expression into sculpturally composed spatial volumes that are then adorned in a curation of bespoke, collectible, contemporary and vintage finds to add character. Strong collaborations with artisans and rigorous documentation, ensure exceptional results, orchestrating environments that resonate emotionally and aesthetically.

A note from est

Samatha Leigh has honed a sensibility around balance: hand-forged brass kitchen joinery brings a new inflection when paired with marble; vintage furniture selections galvanise the adjacent contemporary pieces and Venetian plaster softens more Brutalist architectural forms. It is this sense of counterpoint that gives her homes a layered, rich quality that endures.

"True beauty is not observed but experienced: felt in the hand, held in memory, woven into the story of a place."

—Samantha Leigh
