Founded in 2003, Pohio Adams architects is an award-winning architectural and interiors studio based in Paddington, Sydney. Directors, and husband and wife team, Bianca Pohio and Christopher Adams bring a wealth of experience to their multi-disciplinary practice.
We believe the practice offers poetic, innovative and functional design solutions for complex client programmes. From macro to micro, our ethos draws no distinction between the importance of large-scale building design and crafting of the finest joinery details. We strive to deliver timeless design that is bespoke, beautiful and memorable.

There’s something almost Scandinavian in the way husband and wife Bianca and Christopher handle material: glass blocks, timber, travertine, and steel-framed doors that flood their projects with light and dissolve the boundary between inside and out. The Chaucer Residence, Woollahra Residence and Bellevue Hill are all projects we love to return to.
