About

Pasquale Cook designs considered and elegant spaces, which evoke feelings of warmth and authenticity for those who occupy them. We seek to create enduring architectural spaces layered with moments of the unexpected through materials, art & object.

We strongly value the heritage and history of a space and its context, and strive to find a perfect balance of the classic and contemporary. Subtle narrative of place and time are woven through each project. Our approach is collaborative and inclusive, ensuring ideas are rigorously pushed and explored to achieve the finest result.

We are passionate about furniture and art from a range of design eras, and spend countless hours scrolling auctions, galleries and furniture stores around the world to curate the perfect pieces for each space. Alongside this, we customise a lot of our lighting and furniture in projects, collaborating with local makers.

A note from est

Sophie Di Pasquale and Sally Cook were a deserving inclusion in our Esteemed 10 for 2025; theirs is a practice that has always resisted trends, favouring spaces that feel lived-in, evocative and warm. Their Vineyard House on the Mornington Peninsula—drawn from the vernacular of California’s Napa Valley and grounded in rough-sawn timber, cobbled limestone and honey oak—is exactly the kind of project that shows how fluently Pasquale Cook speaks the language of place.
