LANDE is a Melbourne-based practice founded by Lachlan and Ellie on a shared conviction: that architecture and interiors are not separate disciplines, but a single, continuous act of making. We work at the intersection of architecture and interiors, and of heritage and contemporary design—drawn especially to the places where old and new hold a conversation.

When the same minds shaping a building’s structure also consider its interior character from the outset, decisions become more resolved and spaces more cohesive. Every project begins with curiosity and a commitment to listening—to clients, to context, and to the ways people live.

We see architecture as both technical and human, balancing spatial intelligence with emotional resonance. Our approach is collaborative and detailed, moving seamlessly between concept and construction. Clarity, restraint, and longevity guide our thinking, as we create spaces that feel effortless, considered, and quietly enriching.

Lande Architects are registered with the Architects Registration Board of Victoria (ARBV) and the Board of Architects Queensland (BOAQ), and hold membership with the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA).
