Emily Simpson Landscape Architecture was established in 2007 and is a landscape architectural studio based in Sydney. The studio has an aspiration to create biodiverse and sustainable landscapes with experience in urban parklands, water sensitive urban design, native meadow ecologies, playground design, roof gardens, rural gardens, residential projects and small inner-city courtyards.
The studio designs in a site-specific way throughout the design process combining rigorous design thinking that utlise sustainable and recycled materials where possible with bespoke design detailing and imaginative biodiverse planting. When designing, an emphasis is on ecological preservation, the creation of habitat and usable spaces that enhance the outdoor experience and environment beyond.
