The Studio Kieu Kyoto was inspired by Kieu Tran’s travels to Japan and the feeling of acceptance, comfort, and familiarity she felt as an Asian American traveling in an Asian country for the first time. It evokes memories of torii gates, reading Murakami beneath gently falling cherry blossoms, and green tea ice cream.
