The De La Espada Refectory Extending Table is a monastic, tough yet elegant table in solid timber. The table makes innovative use of engineering bearings and rails — normally used for accurate and smooth movement of machine components — to create a smooth extension function. The solid wood extension leaves are stored inside the tabletop when not in use.
