Antonio Citterio’s Maxalto Lilum Sofa embodies a quietly sculptural approach to seating, defined by its sinuous, organic-inspired lines and direct seating frame—the only such form in the Maxalto range. A mixed-construction piece, its backrest is precision-moulded using specialised in-house technology while the base is crafted from multilayer laminated wood, giving structural warmth and artisanal nuance. An extruded aluminium profile traces the sofa’s elegant contour, offering understated refinement that complements both intimate and more formal settings with tactile upholstery in fine fabric or leather.
