B&B Italia Tufty-Time 20 Sofa, designed by Patricia Urquiola, represents the contemporary evolution of the iconic Tufty-Time modular system first launched in 2005. The internal frame is crafted from tubular steel and steel profiles with flexible cold-shaped polyurethane foam and polyester fibre upholstery for resilient, long-lasting support. The back cushions combine down feather with polyester fibre for plush comfort, while the feet are made from thermoplastic material. Upholstery options include fabric or leather, and the system accepts multiple modular configurations—including straight, corner and curved elements—to create fluid, personalised seating compositions that emphasise both form and function. Tufty-Time 20 is also designed for circularity, with fully disassemblable components that can be reused at the end of their lifecycle.
