The de Sede DS-600 Snake Sofa by de Sede is one of the world’s most iconic modular seating systems. Designed in 1972 by Ueli Berger, Eleonore Peduzzi Riva, Heinz Ulrich and Klaus Vogt, its flowing form was inspired by the mythical Alpine Tatzelwurm, or “Snake”.
Constructed from individual upholstered modules, the DS-600 can be configured into straight, curved or circular arrangements to suit a wide range of interiors. Each section connects with an innovative zip and hinge system, allowing the sofa to expand and evolve over time.
Upholstered in premium de Sede leather or fabric and renowned for its exceptional comfort, the DS-600 has become a true design classic and remains one of the most celebrated modular sofas ever created.
Available as a fully modular system with seat, backrest, armrest and stool elements.
