Pyramidal forms with intersecting planes are separated by hollowed-out joints that appear as if the prism is cracking open like a seed, revealing another world within. The hidden structure that is alluded to, creates a sense of mystery. Designed to honour the materials in which it is made, the monolithic base with eroded joints, supports the sculpted top. With a sense of refinement and attention to detail, Prism is a testament to simplicity 40mm solid timber top with cove edging and solid/ply veneer base. 12mm steel supporting plate.
