The works of textile designer and screen printer, Pippa Oostergetel from Squeak Design caught our eye at Sydney’s Life In Style last month, with her fresh range of cushions and scarves – and of course we felt compelled to share our favourite pieces here.

A new comer to the annual trade fair event in Sydney, Squeak Design grabbed us within 5 metres of walking through the front door and moments later we were ordering pieces for ourselves.

With many of the hand rolled scarves designed by Oostergetel taking their inspiration from photographs captured while travelling abroad, the digitally printed designs have been made into beautiful scarves of either pure silk chiffon or a silk cotton blend, while  cushions come in a much more practical cotton canvas.

With more designs to come, we can’t wait to see what this clever Melbourne creative has up her sleeve.
