Designed by Sydney-based interior architecture studio Lane & Grove, led by Deborah Quigley and Margot Lane, Momo Handles’ showroom immerses visitors in a sensory-rich experience. Located in Paddington— a neighbourhood known for its evolving design landscape of homewares, furniture, and fashion. “The space includes a flexible meeting area where clients can workshop hardware selections in a comfortable, familiar setting,” says Lane. To support design decisions, an extensive materials library is also available, adding depth and inspiration to the client experience.

The new space encourages guests to touch, hold, and curate interior schemes, bridging the worlds of refined elegance and practical functionality. “The showroom needed a warm, tactile environment to contrast with the strength and weight of door and cabinet hardware,” explains Quigley and Lane. “This contrast invites visitors to experience the quality firsthand, making the space feel inviting and encouraging them to stay and explore.”

True to the vision of crafting an inviting, sensory-driven atmosphere, each material has been selected to enhance this experience. Porter’s ‘Olive Grove’ paint casts a serene, warm backdrop, while a textured natural-fibre carpet adds a residential touch. A travertine-topped central island serves as a refined focal point, inviting exploration and hands-on interaction. Every detail subtly balances sophistication with the comforts of home, creating a destination for both inspiration and design.
