Caesarstone ICON slabs contain at least 80 per cent recycled content and natural materials, and are free of crystalline silica and VOCs.
Leading the shift toward sustainable surfaces, Caesarstone ICON debuts six new crystalline silica-free designs in its Advanced Mineral Surfaces range, drawing on the nuanced veining, tonal depth, and layered elegance of natural marble.
As the surface landscape shifts, particularly in light of growing concerns surrounding health, sustainability, and innovation, the industry is turning its attention to viable alternatives to engineered stone.
Caesarstone responded to this shift last year with the Caesarstone ICON Advanced Mineral Surfaces collection — the first crystalline silica-free mineral surface range to be launched worldwide. Their move from traditional stone compositions to a mineral-based blend reflects a broader evolution in design, driven by innovation, environmental responsibility, and a clear vision for the future.
With a continued focus on performance, the collection has earned the trust of Australian architects, interior designers, and homeowners. In June 2025, six new designs were introduced, bringing the range to a total of 39 surfaces.

Lunar Frost features a frosted base overlaid with a directional drift of multi-form terrazzo chips.
Unlike engineered stone, Caesarstone ICON is made from a blend of recycled glass, polymer resins, and pigments. This composition is entirely free from crystalline silica, offering a considered response to health and safety concerns while reflecting a more sustainable approach to surface manufacturing.
The latest additions — Rossa Nova, Celestial Sky, Calacatta Stillstorm, Lunar Frost, Glacier Flow, and Calacatta Dreamwave — continue a shift toward warmer, more organic tones and light-responsive finishes. Drawing inspiration from the complexity and variation of natural marble, each surface is crafted for high durability and resistance to stains and wear — qualities suited to kitchens, bathrooms, and other high-use spaces.
Rossa Nova is a polished surface, featuring a warm white base with earthy amber, taupe and golden ochre hues.
The first three — Rossa Nova, Celestial Sky, and Calacatta Stillstorm — take cues from classic Calacatta marble, known for its warm base tones and pronounced veining. Rossa Nova features a warm white base layered with fine veining in amber, taupe, and golden ochre, finished with a soft polish for a tactile, natural feel. Celestial Sky presents a creamy white surface crossed with organic veining in warm greys and browns, with delicate fissures adding to its visual depth. Calacatta Stillstorm offers a bright white base overlaid with directional veining in soft grey and pewter, bringing a refined sense of contrast and movement.
The remaining three — Lunar Frost, Glacier Flow, and Calacatta Dreamwave — skew cooler in tone. Lunar Frost combines a frosted grey base with a directional drift of terrazzo-style chips in soft grey and earthy brown. Glacier Flow is defined by its pale steel-grey base, animated by mid-sized grey veins, silver mineral deposits, and icy white streaks. Calacatta Dreamwave, available from September, features a muted white backdrop marked by expressive grey veining with subtle brown undertones.
As with the entire collection, these new surfaces are made using natural materials and contain up to 80 per cent recycled content. With an emphasis on longevity, safety, and aesthetic range, Caesarstone’s ICON collection marks the brand’s continued investment in populating the surfaces category with healthy, aesthetically appealing alternatives in a market undergoing significant change.
