You may recall the Manly apartment of CM Studio featured here a few months ago. Seems Est readers could not get enough of the beachside style of designers Megan Burns and Christopher Glanville.
So you might be interested to know the design duo have crossed the harbour bridge in sunny Sydney to work on the refurbishment of a 1930’s Art Deco apartment one block back from the backpacker’s mecca, Bondi Beach. Reworking the bathroom to create a fresh light filled bathing space was a number one priority in the re-design along with the dining, bedroom and study area.
We love the Wireframe Sofa from Herman Miller for small spaces and apartment living. Our friends at Fred International are clearly the go to choice for any design project with a Scandinavian, while Chris Colwell Design took care of the timber elements with his beautifully crafted side tables. And our favourite beachside design retailers The Design Hunter supplied the finishing touches together with artwork by I Need Nice Things.
A team effort in supplying the perfect pieces all orchestrated by the designers with a vision to create a fresh piece of paradise right by Sydney’s sparkling shores.
