Metro Steel Windows creates custom steel windows and doors for residential, commercial, hospitality and heritage projects. Defined by slender sightlines, refined proportions and enduring materiality, each system is designed to introduce natural light, architectural definition and everyday functionality.
Metro offers two architectural steel systems: the exclusive Metro M40 System and the thermally broken Secco OS2 75 System. Developed for Australian conditions, the Metro M40 uses cold-rolled galvanised steel profiles that are straighter, stronger and up to 35% lighter than traditional mild-steel alternatives. The Secco OS2 75 combines exceptionally slender profiles with advanced thermal performance for projects requiring a thermally broken steel system.
Working closely with architects, designers, builders and clients, Metro custom fabricates each window and door to suit the proportions, performance requirements and architectural intent of the project. The adaptable systems support internal and external applications across hinged, pivot, bi-fold, sliding and arched doors, together with fixed, casement, awning, pivot and arched windows.
