Drawing on Roberto Sironi’s research into inscriptions from across cultures and time periods, the cc-tapis Hypercode Rectangular translates symbols, glyphs and graffiti into a contemporary woven composition. Crafted from a wool-and-linen blend using a jacquard technique, the design explores humanity’s enduring impulse to leave a mark and to communicate through visual language.
