As a self proclaimed wood fanatic it should come as no surprise that Melbourne builder, Oliver MacLatchy would spend days searching the web for a timber bathroom spout right? And with no luck in finding said spout for his newly built bathroom, of course this innovative builder thought it only natural to start experimenting in his West Brunswick based workshop, with his tools and some reclaimed timber in order to design his own.

Now, after the seeing the results of his late night escapades spent tinkering away in his shed we can’t imagine how someone had not come up with this ingenious design before.

Beautifully crafted, unique in design, durable in composition and sustainable to boot, MacLatchy’s timber spout is the first product to come out under his newly established Wood Melbourne brand. MacLatchy has created two designs with the Isla and her 90-degree bend, and the Kiri that extends straight from the wall.

Judging by the amount of banging and clanging coming out of his inner city workshop, we’re looking forward to seeing what else this enterprising builder has up his sleeve. Stay tuned….
