Floral sculpturist Tracey Deep's latest work 'Spirit'  is currently exhibiting at The Depot Gallery in Waterloo, Sydney,  until September 14, 2013.

I came across Tracey's work years ago while working as a stylist in Sydney when her poetic way with nature left me transfixed at very first sight. As a country girl I held great disdain for the tumbleweed and flyaway grass I had to spend hours sweeping off the verandah, but Tracey's craft of casting a spring time pest into a sculptural wonder has me  in awe.

Manipulating and reconfiguring both manmade and natural materials into delicate, majestic forms, Tracey's work leaves you considering sticks and twigs in a whole new light!
