We’ve been following Sam Wagners burgouning fashion career since she burst onto the scene back in 1996 with her handbag range that built a cult like following at Sydney’s Paddington Markets. The furore for her handbags gave Wagner the confidence to compliment the brand and extend into shoes, which quickly saw the Sambag ballet flat become part of the uniform of the busy eastern suburbs set right from the get-go.

The flagship store with Sambags signature blue façade in Woollahra, Sydney opened in 2005, with many more stores opening around the country not long after. Keeping in mind her original customers – stylish, busy mums on the run – the Sambag range now includes cashmere knitwear, swimwear and a select range of children’s wear.

Each season Sambags synonymous ballet flat comes in a new range of colours, prints and patterns – which just goes to show you can never have too many in your wardrobe!
